You know how life can be? Amazing, incredible, complicated, joyful, overwhelming, ridiculous, fabulous and, you know, LIFE! I took an accidental sabbatical in December. The holidays are always busy and I reached the point where something had to go. I decided to step away from social media for a bit. I didn't blog at all. I restricted my time on Facebook and Twitter. I wondered if I would miss it.
I didn't miss the medium, but I did miss the people I have come to know through social media. Once you meet these people their tweets are no longer just words scrolling across the screen. I hear their voices, their laughter, and sometimes their pain. I have learned so much from all of them. I also missed blogging. I missed this particular outlet. Who wouldn't miss their own little world to say what they needed to say??
Now my sabbatical is almost over. I have a few more adventures I have to finish away from my computer screen but I will be back soon. I hope to see you here!
